Q1: Does the engraved plate come with the globe or does it arrive separately?
A: The engraving plate is attached to the globe when it arrives. It does not ship separately
Q2: Does the globe turn north to south as well as east to west?
A: No. There is a pole that runs through the globe which only allows it to turn east to west.
Q3: "Which globe has the explorer information?
A: All of these globes along with any illuminated Replogle globe that is 16"" in diameters or larger will have explorer information."
Q4: Does this have all of the nation's capitals on it?
A: (specifically Africa) Yes. I have verified with the supplier that all of the capitals of African countries (up to the time of production) are listed on this globe.
Q5: Where is the engraving plate affixed?
A: The engraving plate is affixed to the top wood ring on the stand.
