Designed for teaching elementary students about geography, this Starter Map and Globe Series is a great addition to the classroom. The map is of the United States and is the pull-down variety that works with most map rails. Made from a non-tear material, it depicts all U.S. borders between Canada and Mexico, along with all 50 states. States are brightly colored, and include the capital city, major cities and water features.
Add the globe to complete the set. Sitting on a round wooden base, the globe is raised by a conical support and encircled by a latitude ring. Continents are separated by color, and each country is clearly visible. Major bodies of water are labeled, as are major cities and other geographical features.
