    I was looking for a desk for my daughter entering middle school this fall and this particular one caught her eye because it was a totally different style than most...and it was pink! Once arrived, it took 15 minutes for the two of us to put together and another 1/2 hour to take and organize all her school/desk items cluttering our kitchen table to her new desk! The desk/writing space is plentiful and with the hutch option the shelf space is going to be hard to fill. We purchased 2 small plastic desk-top draw units and a few holders for pencils, markers etc to make up for the lack of actual draw space and it's good to go. The finish over the composite is very smooth and has a heavy feel. After reading some of the other reviews I was really surprised at how sturdy it is! My daughter has been using it since it's been up and her mom is happy to have her kitchen table back.

But it came a little damaged and Hayneedle wanted me to pay FULL price for the desk AGAIN to get a replacement and then credit me back once they received the return. WELL I AM A SINGLE MOM...I just paid [$] for the desk in the first place..so now I am broke and cannot pay another [$]..! So, now I am stuck with a defective desk that cost [$].
